Benoy Benny, MD

Dr Benny is a nationally recognized Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine Physician. He is Board-certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine and Pain Medicine with fellowship training in Spine and Sports Medicine. He is also involved in the research side as well as continuing to publish papers in the field. He is involved in The North American Spine Society as part of the Rehabilitation, Intervention and Medical Spine (RIMs) Society as well as being faculty for the Advanced Spinal Workshop for many years; He is also involved in Committee’s in the Spine Intervention Society (SIS) and also involved in other societies like the American College of Sports Medicine and the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

He is Fellowship Director of the first North American Spine Society accredited fellowship in Houston in Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine. He also continues to teach fellows at the Houston Methodist Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowships, and Residents at Memorial Hermann Family Medicine, University of Texas, Houston and at the Baylor College of Medicine.

Dr. Benny is an Interventional Physiatrist. He is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Medicine Physician specializing in the Spine and Musculoskeletal/Sports issues.

EdCheril V. Benny, MD

Board Certified Neurologist & Board Certified Sleep Medicine

Dr. Benny is an accomplished Neurologist with both national and international experience. Prior to coming to the US, he was trained at the Leeds University Teaching Hospital, UK. Additionally, Dr. Benny completed a residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN and a fellowship at the St. Louis University Health Science Center, in St. Louis, Missouri. He was in a private practice for over 10 years in Tennessee prior to moving to Houston.

Dr. Benny is board certified by the American Board of Neurology, and has a Board subspecialty certification in Sleep Medicine. He has held many respectable positions throughout his professional career, including Chief of Neuroscience Division of Maury Regional Hospital and Executive Committee Member. He is licensed in Texas, and is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, American Academy of Electrodiagnostic Medicine, American Academy of Sleep Medicine, American Headache Society, and British Sleep Society. I believe that my role as a neurologist and a sleep medicine specialist is to provide patients with the most information. I personally diagnose and explain patients problems.

Noemi Olivero Zabala

Dr. Noemi Olivero Zabala is a board certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation specialist.
She is a proud graduate of UNIBE where she received her Doctor of Medicine degree in 2016. After graduating she worked at her Alma Mater as a mentor to help other students prepare for their medicine board exams.

Her empathy, passion and desire to restore the functional ability and quality of life of others inspired her to pursue a specialty in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R). After a year of iinternship at Nassau University Medical Center she completed her PM&R residency at One Brooklyn Health where she also served as Chief Resident from 2022-2023.

She specializes in the care of general rehabilitation and is part of the Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine Fellowship through the National America Spine Society Recognized Fellowship Program at the Spine & Sports Center in Houston, Texas.

During her free time she enjoys dancing salsa and spending time with her family and pets.
